Sydney is 14 and currently trains at Rhythm Dance Studio and CTRL Acrobatic Dance Company in Toronto. She has been both a dancer and a gymnast since the age of 3. Her favourite dance styles are acro, contemporary and lyrical. She has represented Canada through World Performers Canada competing internationally from 2019 to 2021. For the upcoming 3 Stars Connect event, Sydney will be performing her award winning acro solo from the Dance World Cup Finals held during the past summer. This piece represented perseverance and hard work despite the all the challenges faced during the pandemic and to finally be able to do what she loves most. She is very honoured to participate in this upcoming showcase to help raise funds and awareness for Tali’s fund, supporting childhood brain tumour research.
